The Criterion

Meet Loanis Cabrera, a staff writer here at the Criterion. Loanis has been with the newspaper since she first started at Central. She joined the newspaper because she enjoys writing and wanted to be productive with her time at Central. For fun she likes to listen to music. She also likes science and TV shows such as Doctor Who, Grey's Anatomy, and Daredevil. Loanis was born here in Bridgeport, but her parents are Puerto Rican. She went to Blackham for grade school and Multicultural Magnet for middle school. Loanis is still searching for what she wants to do after college, but in the meantime she is open minded to various careers and seeks out many opportunities to help her come to a decision. She is also a member of debate club and of the National Honor Society.
